I served from Dec 87 to Dec 88. Pretty good times in Panama and Guatemala in our wild days.

I was aboard from 3/69 to 3/70 as a YN1. Some guestbook shipmates I remember.

Was an Army guy aboard the Sphinx in 1968. Worked down on the pontoon. Still looking for buddies from then--Coots? Hernandez? WO Freeman?

I served in USS. Sphinx ARL-24 from Feb 85-July 86; was my first ship and 1st deployment of what turned out to be a 20yr. career (1984-2004). Looking back was some expierence! Lots of memories! Wish they had saved her, she was last of her kind! Neal J. Quinn BM1(SW/AW) {Retired}

I was on board, Aug of 70 to her decommission in Bremerton Wa. I worked in the galley as night baker. Also was Jack of the Dust for a while. Would like to hear from anyone... Ron Krug IC3 did ever write that hit song ? Al Turcheck EM2 where are you? Mell Mellum??
