I was a Army Huey Crew Chief based out of Honduras and landed on the ship many times while it was patrolling the Gulf Of Fonseca off the coast of El Salvador. 1895-86

I was on the Recommissioning crew At Avendale Ship Yard in New Orleans in 1967. I was the first Navy Diver to be assigned to her to set up a diving locker and get her ready for duty in the Mekon Delta with TF-117 based at DONG TAM VIETNAM.
